Do you remember how your computer ran when it was brand new?  Or how well it worked just after a WAM Computers tune-up? Now your computer can run like new every day! Instead of waiting until your computer is almost too slow to use or after you get a virus, now you can get your computer tuned-up every month.  And you never have to disconnect it or bring it to WAM.  We will do the tune-up remotely!

What is the tune-up?

Our system tune-up is our most popular service, ether as one-time clean-up or as our monthly continuing maintenance.  It includes all of the things needed to get and keep your computer running at it’s peak performance level.  

The tune-up includes:
  • Removal of viruses.
  • Removal of spyware and malware.
  • Repair of registry errors.
  • Install all current MS Windows updates including Service Packs.
  • Check the hard drive for errors to find problems before your hard drive fails.
  • Insure that your anti-virus software is up to date or Install and verify proper operation of the free Windows Defender antivirus.

How much does it cost?

We will continue to keep your computer running like brand new for the low price of $20 per month.  We will send you a monthly invoice or you can set it up for automatic payment either by bank account debit or credit card.


How to begin:

To start, your computer will need to be fully cleaned or have Windows re-installed.  A WAM Computers in-store clean-up or re-install is $115 and takes 3 to 5 business days (we recommend this at least once per year even if you don’t continue the maintenance).  We can also do the initial tune-up remotely.  We will still require the computer for 8 hours per day for 3 days but you will be able to use your computer during the other hours of the day.  Remote initial clean-up is $135.
After the initial clean-up, we will schedule with you to have exclusive access to your computer 1 day per month.  You can choose to have us do the tune-up either during the day (9:30 - 5:30) or evening (4 - midnight.)
